Every ancient civilization seems to have its own Depiction of massage- from the Chinese and reflexology on feet to Hippocrates who believed “the physician must be experienced in many things but assuredly in rubbing.’ In today’s society’s though, we see pretty much one major cause for the need of modern massage and that is: sedentary lifestyles. I know, you didn't want such a simple answer but it is what it is and sleeping for 3 years is great if you’re a snail but we’re humans and we need to incorporate more movement back into our daily lives if we want to see positive changes for not only our body but our spirit too.
